Project Summary

M. B. Kahn’s masonry team delivered specialized masonry services for this successful Design-Build parking garage project in collaboration with Moseley Architects. Working closely with the owner and project partners, the M. B. Kahn/Moseley team developed a strategic value engineering solution that reduced project costs by approximately $4 million while preserving the required parking capacity and functionality.

The optimized design expanded the garage footprint, eliminated one parking level, and incorporated a raised pedestrian crosswalk connected to the existing second-floor entrance. This innovative approach improved efficiency, enhanced site accessibility, and maintained the desired parking count and stall dimensions.

Donley’s constructed the cast-in-place concrete parking structure while M. B. Kahn installed custom masonry and specialty brick detailing designed to complement the surrounding development. This project highlights M. B. Kahn’s expertise as a Design-Build general contractor and masonry contractor, delivering cost-effective construction solutions, quality craftsmanship, and collaborative project execution for complex commercial developments.
